New developments at Jachtcharter Klompmaker
At the end of last year we decided to sell our company. We had thought that this could take a few more years, but already we found a buyer who will take over our company as of the first of November 2021.
Why, you may be thinking
After 30 intensive years, we want to take it more easy. Together we have built this wonderful company to the top in our branch. The decision was certainly not an easy one. But she opens the door to new horizons with more time for ourselves and our family.
What gave us so much satisfaction in our job were you, our satisfied customers. So many loyal customers who came to us from anywhere around the world for an unforgettable sailing holiday.
We will certainly miss your enthusiastic stories and experiences. But we can look back on 30 wonderful years, in which we have been able to share the passion for sailing and water sports with you.
What happens now?
We are also pleased to announce that we can pass the torch to a very experienced colleague company: Yachtcharter De Drait from Drachten. Not much else will change for you. The name Jachtcharter Klompmaker will continue to exist. The yachts will remain in Woudsend and will continue to be rented out from de Zwaan 20.
Yachtcharter De Drait will take over our place at the location in Woudsend and will continue the rental and the associated service.
We would like to thank you for the trust placed in us and wish you all a lot of sailing pleasure on one of 'our' trusted yachts.

Cutter yachts
Our boats are always easy to handle because of the excellent sailing properties. The streamlined underwater ship releases the water nice and easy, which causes less stern wave. This is why the yachts don't use much fuel (3 - 5 l. per hour).
When you are on a boat made by Klompmaker, you get a yacht that is easy to handle, gives a lot of comfort and looks amazing. You will feel like a real captain and owner of an exclusive yacht!
